 Reflection

    The process of creating this technology proposal plan has been very beneficial. I think that I learned a lot. I was hesitant at first about using technology to support the social-emotional and language needs in my classroom. I remember thinking that I wasn't sure it was appropriate to use for those areas. After some time researching platforms and trying things out, I realized that it could be done. I was excited that I was able to find a way to use technology for my students and a way to meet their needs. 

    There were a few challenges when planning, as I mentioned above. There were also a few challenges with figuring out the correct template to use. I wanted the picture to be able to move so at first I did it wrong. I also thought about challenges my students would have with becoming independent with the technology. I think that after some time they will be come more independent. At first they will need supports, which is okay. Some 3 year olds also can be silly when using technology to make their turn longer. Hopefully when we use this more that won't be the case.

    I am still excited about my topic and I believe in it's potential. I think once my students use It more, they will become more independent. Once they are more independent they can complete the activity on their own on the iPads. I think I can adapt this technology to use it for other areas and lessons as well. I think now that I have found a balance there is more that I can do. 

    I think the most positive aspect of this journey is being able to use technology in my classroom that is beneficial to my students. I know they all get a lot of screen time at home and they are not here that long, so I struggled with finding a way to incorporate it. I think now that I have found a way to use it and how much to use it's much better. I also think being able to show my co-teacher and paraprofessional the technology plan was also very positive. I don't think there were any negative aspects of this journey.

    I think that the technology specialist roles of learning specialist and instructional designer are very interesting. I think there is a lot that can be done, integrated, and created. I enjoyed learning what my classmates would do with their students. It was interesting to see how other grades used technology.
